The ADuM7442S is a 4-channel digital isolator based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler technology. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technologies, this isolation component provides outstanding performance characteristics superior to the alternatives, such as optocoupler devices and other integrated couplers.
The ADuM7442S quad digital isolation device is packaged in a small 16-lead Flatpack. It offers very low power consumption, consuming one-tenth to one-sixth the power of comparable isolators at comparable data rates up to 25 Mbps. Despite the low power consumption, the ADuM7442S provides low pulse width distortion (<5 ns). The ADuM7442S also has an input glitch filter to protect against extraneous noise disturbances.
The ADuM7442S isolator provides four independent isolation channels up to 25 Mbps. The ADuM7442S operates with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 3.0 V to 5.5 V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier. All products also have an output default high logic state in the absence of the input signal.

EVAL-ADUM7442S:ADuM7442S 评估板
EVAL-ADuM7442S支持ADuM7442S 25MBPS航天级四通道数字隔离器。该评估板提供对所有4个通道的访问,支持信号扇出和回送以及较优旁路电容。信号可通过边缘安装型SMA连接器传输至电路板或利用未填充的接头位置直接连接。提供去耦端子板以便实现电源连接并支持边缘安装型SMA连接器。该板提供200密耳接头位置,可兼容Tektronix有源探头。
